I can remember when he got so so sick at only 6 months old and we actually had to spend the night in the hospital because his oxygen levels were low and he didn't seem to be getting better. I was scared to death that we were not going to be bringing our little angel home. For any parent having your child so sick in a hospital bed and feel SO unbelievably helpless to helping them is the worst feeling in the whole universe!!
But as you obviously know he is all better and his fully energetic little guy, keeping mom and dad on their toes 24/7 and I am thankful every day for his little quirks he brings to the table :) He loves to sing, dance, imaginative play with just about anything, and enjoys reading! He is also going to be such a stubborn head and in a good way. He is so high energy too that kids don't know what to do with him lol :) Dad and I have been trying to monitor that though because it has been a problem here and there when it comes to other kids. He gets so frustrated when people aren't playing with him or keeping up and he gets aggressive so we constantly tell him, play nice! Don't get into peoples faces, and don't hit, no biting. Say Please and Thank you. You know those kinds of parenting things you do with your kids :) I guess we have been saying it so much lately that now even when he is with Grandma and Grandpa he knows! Grandpa Tom said that they were in First Bank and he was playing in the kids area and Grandpa Tom was watching him and He would announce, "I'm playing nice!" and he did this a few more times and the final time he ran up to him and said, " I'm playing nice papa" lol
Its of comfort knowing he gets it. I know there are times when he will just not listen but he knows when he is in trouble. His Home Day Care, Janae, watches him because like most little boys his age, there is always that rough housing part of them, and when he does hit and he knows he wasn't supposed to, Janae said she actually finds him putting himself in timeout. lol
This little guy, well I should say little man now, Is growing so much and way to quickly! Cannot wait to see what this next year brings us!
